Stoic Joker · « **Reply #26 on:** May 02, 2020, 10:07 PM »

Shit … I thought CST was 2 hours off my time, lookz like I'm an hour late.

Crap!!!

erikts · « **Reply #27 on:** May 02, 2020, 10:20 PM »

I was late by about 10 minutes

I had suhoor, Fajr prayer and forget about the meeting. Was it recorded?

AzureToad · « **Reply #28 on:** May 02, 2020, 10:23 PM »

I was going to join, but I'd just gotten out of the shower after working outside.
There ain't NOBODY wanna see me without a shirt

and I was too hot and too lazy to put one on.

BUT - would love to know how it went.
Next time, I'll wear a shirt for sure!

I think this is a TERRIFIC idea, btw!

Well that was quite an experience.. We had 300 hard core donationcoder members show up for an amazing debate.
And we gave away some great prizes -- two new cars and $500k in cash prizes.

Sarcasm much?

mouser · « **Reply #30 on:** May 03, 2020, 02:52 AM »

There were 4 of us and no prizes.

I REALLY hope you do this again.

mouser · « **Reply #33 on:** May 04, 2020, 01:16 AM »

I think we will try doing it on a regular basis, once every couple of month. Just to get in the practice, even if only a handful of people join each time.

panzer · « **Reply #34 on:** May 04, 2020, 04:42 AM »

If nothing else, you have to have at least one more because of Stoic Joker forgot to attend.

mouser · « **Reply #35 on:** May 04, 2020, 09:29 AM »

We didn't record it.. I wish we had at least taken a screenshot!

panzer · « **Reply #36 on:** May 04, 2020, 11:01 AM »

Have you spoken at all or did you just stare at each other for a couple of minutes?

mouser · « **Reply #37 on:** May 04, 2020, 11:05 AM »

we spoke for about 45 minutes about random stuff.

panzer · « **Reply #38 on:** May 04, 2020, 11:31 AM »

God for you. At least it was not a waste of time.

mouser · « **Reply #39 on:** May 04, 2020, 11:46 AM »

Well I didn't say that..

Nevertheless, I am a believer in sometimes doing things that was time, so we will continue to have the zoom meetings regularly until no one shows up.

panzer · « **Reply #40 on:** May 04, 2020, 03:57 PM »

Maybe you should decide what you are going to talk about before the Zoom Meeting?

Ask others what they would want to talk about ...

KynloStephen66515 · « **Reply #41 on:** May 05, 2020, 01:49 AM »

For those who missed the meeting, we could maybe arrange a few informal voice chats on the DC Discord server. I'm usually free at most hours to join in

Ok when should we do the next zoom meeting?
Shall we try one at the opposite end of the sleep schedule, 2am (central standard US time)?

skwire · « **Reply #43 on:** May 06, 2020, 09:14 PM »

I'm game for whenever.

mouser · « **Reply #44 on:** May 10, 2020, 05:44 PM »

For those without a webcam, did you know you could use your (android?) mobile phone as a great webcam for your computer?

mouser · « **Reply #45 on:** May 12, 2020, 08:44 AM »

I'm thinking our next zoom meeting will be on June 4th at 2am forum time.

mouser · « **Reply #46 on:** July 31, 2020, 10:03 AM »

Ok time for another zoom meeting this month (Aug); shall we try Aug 13?

KodeZwerg · « **Reply #47 on:** July 31, 2020, 11:29 AM »

someone know: how do i open 2 zoom sessions on one pc? (company pc, zoom is permant open)
didn't find a qualified answer on net. 3am forum-time is cool for me.

answers that include "use vm" are rejected, not possible here.

//edit
solution should include ability to switch webcam/headset to target session, so i could use both at same time w/o interfere wrong session.

sure i win $1billion

(joke)

If I remember, I'll be there

mouser · « **Reply #49 on:** August 04, 2020, 07:01 AM »

I don't think you can open more than 1 zoom session at a time..
