NANY 2018 Release: Proofy

I'm releasing the functional beta of "Proofy", a converted-to-GUI version of my PRT command-line program that assists proofreaders in tracking multiple projects' income, customer communications, progress, words proofed, deadlines, etc. You should download Proofy_dist9.zip

Requires: .NET client profile to be installed.

Installation: unzip and run executable from extracted folder.

Note: if you screw around with, or lose, any of the images in the /Images/ subfolder, Proofy will grumble and grind. You may therefore want to be sure not to lose the download containing those images.

Doesn't yet have a Help system but I've been using it successfully from project inception to completion for the past several weeks.

Alert to those who've downloaded past distributions: distros 1-8 have been superseded by #9.

Proofy breaks down what my proofreading revenue is annually, which is handy at tax-time:

Just as the previous screenshot shows annual breakdown of proofreading income, this one shows yearly breakdown of total words proofed:

Seems like Proofy needs a little "proo(f)reading" itself

How comes the 'ranging in time...' counts until 12/26/2017, where you've already proofed 112,000+ words in 2018?, completed projects only? That's not what the total number of words suggests...

Yep, there was a bug in the method that calculated those values. Check distro6 for the fix. Now Proofy counts any project's initiation date when considering that range. See top left red circle. The bottom-right red circle shows that Proofy calculates total words proofed in the current year thus far. I will be adding breakdown-by-year of words-proofed, just as I've already done for earnings per year.
