You're starting early Contro

keeping it multi-lingual:
Frohe Weihnachten!

Shades · « **Reply #2 on:** December 13, 2015, 06:26 PM »

Indeed early. Still:
Vrolijk Kerstfeest!

mouser · « **Reply #3 on:** December 16, 2015, 07:09 PM »

* tom tries to figure out exactly how mouser is feeling...

... fascinated,
bemused,
wondering what's coming next,
maybe not quite sure 'should I trust?' ...
(dressed up? :p)

nice photo btw

I already posted this in the Silly Humor thread, but I guess it fits here, too:

to be honest i've been feeling really miserable/bleak/desolate/dismal/hopeless lately.. i don't really want to get into it, just a bunch of things going wrong and can't see a good way out

but truthfully i really don't want to talk about it.
what i should have said is that photo represents how i want to feel -- glimpsing a different, if uncertain, future.

Five days left until solstice. Waiting for the big Merry Solstice 2015 thread or for the confession that other religions are discouraged here.

Happy new year all.

I guess I forgot to wish for a happy year in late 2014, and I had this terrible one. I sincerely hope 2016 will be better for everyone, and certainly for the good fellas and gals in this lovely place.

(I don't recall if this is in the silly thread or not, but there's a line that has been crossed when I slosh across the yard to drown the pups 3 or 4 times a day...

For some reason I don't think "White Christmas" was referring to tropical, white yachting.

saw a video lately of an Irish Christmas/Winter where they have a snowball fight with fistfulls of water scooped up from the pool size puddles on the paved paths (cant for the life of me find it again...)
