Sniper Elite 3 is 70% off on steam this weekend

Sniper Elite 3 is a no frills game built on a last generation engine, and it's wonderful.
It's on sale this weekend for 70% off.

DC member skwire and I have been playing through the co-op campaign, as we did with Sniper Elite 2, and it's a unique experience: slow, methodical, tense, fun as hell.

Highly recommended, especially if you have a friend to play co-op with.

Great game.  Loads of fun in co-op with voice chat.

All 3 were fantastic games.  Sniper Elite 1 may be too old to hold up well against modern games, but SE2 and SE3 are very playable -- and were never about cutting edge graphics.

For those with friends, SEv3 is a fantastic 2 player cooperative experience (two players on 2 dif computers).

You sold me, Jesse. Purchasing the trilogy now!

DC member Skwire just finished the last co-op mission in Sniper Elite 3 yesterday.  We had an absolute blast playing the game co-op.  Great great stuff.
You can currently pick it up on steam for $10, or a bit more for the entire series (#2 was great co-op and i highly recommend it too) or with DLC content which is also good:
