Bug report: Easy screencast recorder

[simakuutio]

Here is some bugs I have found from this nice capturer:

1. Win7 widgets on desktop cannot be captured. If you capture region where such widgets exists, on capture none of these are visible.
2. Help -> About -> Program website --> http://www.donationcoder.com/software/Mouser/esr (page doesn't exist).

There were some other (minor) issue but right now, can't remember how it did occure so cannot report it, I'll do it later when I remember it

Version tested: v1.09.01

Thank you very much for the report simakuutio
I think the biggest bug in Easy Screencast Recorder is that it's not (yet) actually easy to use.

But to address your points:

1. Windows Widgets won't capture?
I suspect this means they are using some accelerated graphics rendering to display, much in the same way that video playback can, causing screen captures to be blank.
When you can do is temporarily *disable* HARDWARE ACCELERATION for your graphics card (found on Troubleshooting tab of video card properties dialog) during capture, and then re-enable it.

2. Thanks, will fix.  The proper page is: http://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/esr

If it's not to much trouble, I'd appreciate knowing if my guess about capturing windows 7 widgets is correct -- if so i'll add some info to the help file about it.

Well... the screencapture isn't blank. My desktops background is visible on that screencapture but widgets on top of that, aren't.

On this screenshot, you'll see my desktops area where my widgets are (my ip-information blurred to protect innocent...)

And this screencast from very same is done with Easy Screencast Recorder shows no widgets.
