Sorry, hadn't anticipated my post winding up at the top of a new page, out of context. I was just noting that Avanquest is now pushing PowerDesk 9 (and I suspected, as Carol confirms, that it is simply 8.5 rebadged). An update to the previous discussion about Avanquest's track record of buying products, not really developing them, and charging for upgrades that can barely be considered point release updates.

-not really; they are merely letting you purchase it already now with a microscopic 10% off the normal price. The link on powerdesk9.com will still lead to a version 8.5
