How to Root Samsung Exhibit II 4G

[jkitc]

I have not been able to find decent instructions on how to ROOT my Smart Phone. I have read how-to instructions from different sources, but so far nothing that makes sense or that I can follow. Can anyone help me?
I'm sure that this phone would be a lot better if it was rooted.
This phone is going to be re-branded to: Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G, when I am not sure.

The best place to check is probably over at www.xda-developers.com.

I did see this:

http://www.androidauthority.com/exhibit-4g-t679-how-to-root-tutorial-72063/

But I can't offer any first hand experience there.
