I want to make a rectangular selection to a pdf file and copy that text only

is it possible?

the text is copiable (it doesnt need OCR)

Sumatra PDF can do this.
Hold ctrl key while selecting

oh, this is great, I use SumatraPDF and I wouldnt like to change it, but I didnt know it can do this

I'm curious if SumatraPDF will let you select a rectangle that spans across pages?

yes, I confirm it can

Cool. Thanks for checking. Foxit let's you select a rectangle of text, but not across pages.
