BIGGEST NEW FEATURE SINCE HISTORY OF THE SITE - DONATIONCREDITS

[mouser]

After months of non-stop work, the DonationCredits micro-donation system on this site has now gone live.

This has been a huge amount of work but we hope it will take the site to a new level of collaboration and sharing.

This system will make it easy to donate to each other to show support for their contributions to the site and the forum.  From now on, whenever you donate to the site you will get back some of your donation in the form of credits which you can give out to others with just a click or two.

To learn more, just click on the little bird mascot (Cody) or follow the gold coints.
Or discuss it here: http://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2942.0

How does everyone feel about donationcredit rewards?

ex:
      WANTED
  Reward: 10Т
Program that will
temperially disable
mouse movement
when a hotkey is
      held.

Personally, I'm for it!

By the way, to get it started, the above is real. Click here to discuss further.

Well done - I like the new quick reply tools too ;-)

This is a very fun and cool thing!

Very neat idea.  I never heard of something like this before, but I'm raring to go.  Got my people picked out already to shower a few coins on.

Try StopMouse.ahk (or StopMouse.exe). It uses the f8 hotkey to toggle mouse movement and right and left click.

Hm, micro donations, I believe, have trashes the tab order on the site. Before DonationCredits were introduced, if I pressed 'tab' while in the quick reply textbox, I'd get to the "post" button and could then hit space to post my post. Now tab-space brings me to the DonationCredits page. Fix, please

It's well and truly outstanding to award credits to those that are deserving...All you need now is to open a bank  account and invest them credits and gain interest ...Heh heh! (Just kidding) ...Welldone!

great idea !!

I just got me some more credits to pass around, because I ran out.  Anyone who donates should be sure to request the "more professional, dignified, business-like thank you message" that's offered at the end of the process.  It's a great reminder of the spirit of this site.  Thanks for that.

well, guys, if that's the spirit of the site, then i'm gonna like your site as much as i liked your "professional, dignified, business-like thank you message"
and thanks to let me in here for such a tiny donation!
i'll remember that once i can help you with more.
