Happy Thanksgiving 2011 (USA)
« on: November 24, 2011, 05:27 PM »
Hi all,

I just wanted to express my gratitude for mouser and the wonderful DC community he has established and kept going all these years. DC has been a great source of knowledge, help, entertainment, and community for me for many years now.

Thanks to everyone for your contributions to this site/community, and again, a special thanks to mouser for starting it all.

Happy thanksgiving to all.  I am so grateful for this community.  You guys and gals (and cody) are like a second family for me.  You make life more fun and enjoyable.  I'll be here over thanksgiving for anyone who wants to share some virtual tofu turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving Mouser and everybody else in the DC community.

I'm not particularly into tofu turkey, or real turkey for that matter. Alex and I pretty much like everything else in the traditional meal but the turkey. We roast one mainly for our guests, the tradition, and as a table decoration. With the local turnips and butternut squash crop as superb as it's been this year, who needs a turkey? This time it's "just us" at home - so the dogs have stepped into a turkey bonanza for the rest of the week. Something they very much approve of.

Best to all - and safe travels for those of you out visiting.

Happy thanksgiving for all, and ditto on what Deo said.  This is a great community, and I'm thankful for it and all of the people that make it up.  Be safe everyone traveling, and good times with friends and family to all.
