affordable remote power management?

[brotherS]

Hi,

does anyone of you know about some affordable hardware, that allows the user to power up/down external devices? It would be great if it would connect to an USB port and extra cool if it would come with some sort of software.

With Google's help I found some stuff for professional server management only - nice but VERY expensive...

Thanks, I found stuff like http://www.x10-store.com/2coinmocm.html there, that's at least pointing in the right direction... maybe I'm too quick for the market
