FARR acts a little bit slow if a CD is in the CD-Drive

It seems so that it first try to search the CD before the FARR window comes up. The delay is just really small but still noticable

go to your path search options, and UNCHECK recent folders from the search list, or move it to bottom - it's the cause of this slowdown probably. i need to add code to avoid checking removable media and network lan locations.

actually if it's at startup:
check your launch history and delete any items from the cd, which would cause it to verify their existence on startup.
