And... nobody wants Portal? There's cake!

But...! You know :)

it could be my motto

"But there’s no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake."

It's Chime's fault I know all the lyrics to that song...

Against my better judgment (I have way too much I should be doing to start playing games again), maybe I'll try a go at Portal if there's still cake left.  Thx. :)

Thanks for the game Creeper World, iphigenie...and thanks to your friend too. He missed out on a good game that has already stolen quite some hours.  :D

Thanks for Sanctum iphigenie - now to find some time to play it1.

1. Euphemism for: now to play it without the wife catching me playing games.

the solution is: get wife into games too. It's just about finding the right game... and that might not be what you think (for one of my friends it was the original dark Alice game, for example). Warning: this is only a good solution if you have two computers.

I bought my wife a Kindle 3G instead. She never puts it down, reading it all the time, and I get to game.  Problem solved.

I think* I may still have Left 4 Dead 2 to give. Who wants it?

*) Sent to someone long ago but Steam shows sent status only. Since it hasn't been accepted for quite a while, I can give it away.

Edited 11th of Sept:
L4D2 given away

Seeing there's already a thread about giving away games, I may as well hijack this one  :P

Does anybody want a copy of Frozen Sypnase?

It's a turn-based strategy game where the turns happen at the same time. Makes it quite a bit harder as you have to predict what your enemy does for each turn.

EDIT: Game given away already! Thanks. :)

Happy to see the thread hijacked, Xenonym :)

Reminding of some leftovers on Gamersgate:

Infans Solaris - asteroids with co-op mode
Guilty Gear Isuka - a fighting game http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-GGI/guilty-gear-isuka
RIP - old school shooter
RIP strike back - old school shooter

Also if anyone is in (or can be in) Yorkshire and wants physical copies of games - or knows of someone who would play older games on older systems, or a charity which would take some. I have a boxful of games, some (second copies, yes, i never learn that I cant get R to try much) or two that I can happily give away.

I might have a spare copy of Renegade Wars when it comes out - another action-ey game with coop mode.

I recently bought the IndieGala 2 but I already own quite a few of the games. So I am giving away the spare keys.

  • inMomentum
  • Zombie Shooter 1
  • Zombie Shooter 2
  • Hacker Evolution: Untold
  • Hacker Evolution: Duality
  • Your Doodles are Bugged!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this. But all these games are on steam. So you'll need that to play them

As with p3lb0x, I've got some bundle purchasing overlap and have the following Steam keys to give away.

  1. Bunch of Heroes
  2. Hacker Evolution: Duality
  3. Hacker Evolution: Untold
  4. Hoard
  5. inMomentum
  6. Your Doodles are Bugged
  7. Zombie Shooter 1
  8. Zombie Shooter 2

Don't be shy...  Holler if you'd like one/some/all.   :D

Recently bought myself a preorder four pack of Torchlight 2 and with that came 4 copies of Torchlight 1. I've got at least one to spare, so if anyone is up for it. Just give me a call

Edit: Oh yeah, sent it to Ampa

I have extra Iron Grip: Warlord on Steam, so if somebody is up to some CO-OP tower defense / RTS hybrid let me know.

Skwire, I wouldn't mind picking up up those Zombie shooters!

Steam name is same as here - Attronarch.

I have the following available in Steam:

Half-Life 2: Episode One
AudioSurf
Defense Grid
Toki Tori Taken
aaaaAAAAAAAAHHH!
Super Meat Boy
Cogs
Counterstrike Source

I will only give one game per user, and I do ask that you have legitimate activity somewhere here on DC.  It doesn't have to be a lot, and it doesn't have to be recent, but I won't give out games to people who somehow found this thread and create an account just to PM me.
