Looks okay, seems to have a few fans, but it's a long way from portable by any sensible definition (despite their statements that it can be made to be).

I was going to... but I've been using CintaNotes lately and am beginning to value the tag-based way of doing this sort of stuff, and AMN is definitely tree-based.

It's nice to see GOTD doing more useful stuff right now, though.

Agree. Although in all fairness I can understand why they can't give away an unrestricted portable edition.

Follow the steps below to convert this GOTD build in to a PORTABLE version:
1. Install AllMyNotes to your PC using the installer from GOTD.

For me, that would be a showstopper. But again, I think I can understand why they feel the need to do it that way. And I think they deserve credit for at least trying to come up with something that's fair to all parties.

Thanks 'lanux128', I am retrying with IE 7 & adMuncher disabled... And I still get the same result. BTW, there is a nice typo in the coupon image, is says the 71% are valid up to November 23rd 2011. Anyway, no big deal since I already have a GOTD license, it's just that it seemed weird. Maybe some kind of IP filtering...

Funny : I tried again the same link from another machine, this time I got the standard order page, not the giveaway's one. Seems to me that the website is doing something specific according to the source IP.

I just downloaded and installed this from the GAOTD site. I have seen this promoted before but never gave it much though. Looks like a nice program, plus the developer has been here and apparently - from what I have read - is very nice and sincere. Which is a big plus in my book!

Well, maybe this can replace a few of the 21 notes programs currently installed on my box.

(I know - I'm a weird notes junkie!)
