Wow! Thank you.

To be honest: I wasn't looking at this thread before because I had not believe I can win

I want to say a special Thank You to the (yet unknow) person who donated the awesome Maximus keyboard. What a generous gift! Pure fairytale!!

Thank you also to the members that have contacted me to congratulate me for my winning. I am extra grateful for these initiatives!

----------
For 'your' information:
I have promised to mail the keyboard to another member anywhere in the world, should I not be able to use the keyboard.

Hi Edvard,

thanks for clarifying. That explains why i haven't got it. I'm not a gamer and never played "Portal".

I'm familiar with "42" though!

Greetings
JoTo

Dare I ask what version of Windows you are using, fenixproductions?

-okay. You were running XP back in August 2010, and apparently still are, but already in September 2008 BC3 had some bug fixed for NT4 and Win9x (!), so I would be very surprised if BC3 doesn't work on XP.

But of course we should have a giveaway for some 64-bits Win 7 with 16GB RAM. OF COURSE!!!

2worstje
Win XP SP3

2Curt
But it seems that I scarred myself too early and cranioscopical informed me via PM that "Beyond Compare 3.2.4 on WinXP Sp3 32-bit" works correctly.
I think I should change my nickname to rabbitproductions

Despite that all: Win7 give-away would be nice. Anyone wans to contact MS?

cranioscopical informed me

Yeah, but that information doesn't come cheaply!
I expect monthly updates to BBCEd

Thanks to DC, to carl, and especially to the generous people and companies that made the giveaways possible.

It's appreciated.

worstje · « **Reply #68 on:** April 04, 2011, 06:09 PM »

fenixproductions, have a look at the Beyond Compare System Requirements, and more specifically the Supported Windows Platforms. Although the page is a bit confusing at first, I believe you can interpret it as all versions having been tested to support the stuff at the top, and as later versions have come out the newer operating systems from Redmond have also become officially supported. (And not that only Windows 7 is supported in recent versions, which would be a rather silly business decision with Vista at the least still being in active support from Microsoft.)

Thank you mouser for running the fundraiser and giveaway. Thank you Carl for your work to arrange and obtain the software prizes. Thank you Actual Tools (and the other prize donators) for donating prizes. Also, thank you to the DonationCoder community.

I've just received my key and I must say: works perfectly well on WinXP. I've played with it for short time only but already decided to throw WinMerge away (at home at least). Reason? Comparison of different file types (i.e. docx vs. pdf).

Thank you very much DC
