nothing fancy to get excited about, just plain launch bar, but hopefully the functionality is where it will shine eventually.

you can minimize any dock to the tray as well and just access it as a menu:

Looks great M. - let me know if you want a beta tester...

mouser · « **Reply #3 on:** February 24, 2006, 08:00 PM »

thanks ms, i hope to have a beta version ready next week.
it still has a long way to go before it can be said to be better than existing tools, but i'm very happy with the foundation of the code, and i hope we can make it great in time.

Could this possibly act as a start menu replacement? Or perhaps this can also take the place of the start men organizer that I started a thread about. Whatever happens, it looks good so far.

this tiny icon view is not as attractive, i think i still need to improve colors on small icon rendering:

or maybe you prefer horizontal alignment:

I hope this space around the icons can be as small as possible ?
'cus i want the icons to access my tools and folder,
but i want also spend less space for this bar as possible.

i.e. i don't like to have an big border like on this shots but much lesser. Is this planed ?

vegas · « **Reply #11 on:** February 26, 2006, 06:45 PM »

I would have to agree with stefan if I were a user, having the ability to control the amount of space around the icons or icons+text, would be essential. But, they certainly look attractive.

That looks sweet!
By the options dialog, I see it will have some very interesting features, I'm looking forward for LBC

If you need beta testers, count me in!
BTW, now I see why you're proud of the config dialog, it's really something, it looks like there's much pontential in it

I'm looking forward for that beta

Sorry but I'm flat out like a lizard drinking with school work, so I haven't the time at the mo to give other than an impression.

Nice tsaint, the program still is a beta and you're already making swf's?

It's a good one, sure doeshelp with the basic functions (which is about all launchbar has by now

)
