The scientific community downgraded Pluto from a planet a while ago. No conspiracy- if it was a recent video, it would hopefully know that fact.

Imagine how you would feel if you were Supreme Ruler of an entire planet and they downgraded the planet's status on you. I wonder if you could bring a law suit to get the status restored?

Very nice.

And now for something completely different. A game where you play a mischievous goose:

I kept hearing about this and thought it was still in development. But it seems the Untitled Goose Game was released last month (for PC) with the title of "Untitled Goose Game" . . . $:-\$

I was just browsing through this thread trying to find a short film I had seen somewhere and I noticed this short called Cargo from 2013:

Best twist on the zombie movie genre... EVAR!!

I recognized the basic premise and the name from something else I had seen recently on Netflix or IMDB or something and went and found it again. It looks like it got turned into a feature length film which was released in 2017:

Four Adventures of Reinette and Mirabelle
an Eric Rohmer film. I have not seen it yet. It is supposed to be undergoing a restoration treatment. I liked Rohmer's Pauline at the Beach so I will check out Four Adventures if I get the chance.

I clicked on the Life Beyond video thinking it would be a cool ~3 minute music video that melodysheep is known for. It turned out to be a ~30 minute pseudo-documentary with appealing visuals and audio.

There are two parts, each about 30 minutes. I've just watched the first and am now posting them both here before having seen the second.

very good, I enjoyed that

the song at the end uses the tune of an old Irish anti-recruitment ballad "Arthur McBride" (youtube)

Backwoods - H. P. Lovecraft adaption.

Quote

1907, Massachusetts. A scholar drifts from his path and finds himself in a house he takes for deserted. Deserted, apart from a beguiling book containing dark secrets that exerts a powerful hold over those who come into contact with it.
