Sadly, my kitty passed away today. It's only just now hitting me.

So sorry Edvard......

Latest from Isabella - coat growing nicely!

Edvard · « **Reply #409 on:** June 01, 2016, 07:06 PM »

Thanks for the condolences, everyone. I'm doing OK and moving on to giving our dog the same long life of love and savory treats.
Everyone, meet Brandi the WonderLab:

Mouser: Wow! New kitty! That's always exciting. I've always had cats in my life, this is the first time I'll probably be without one for a while, but I'm OK with that. However, new kitties==fun. Every. dang. time.

Clevercat: Oooh, your Isabella looks quite the precious one. I was never partial to the exotic types, but my wife had a chocolate persian when we were dating that broke me of that.

Here's a photo of our black German Shepherd dog who's 16 months old. The photograph was taken my a neighbour on the road outside our house and he did a bit of post processing to make her look so well

^ lovely photos, lovely dogs :-)

@Stephen -
is it a colour photo, or did you make it sepia ?

Taylor, our somewhat timid Golden, heads to her crate when she need peace. I wish I could get half as peaceful as she does...

For some reason, the Mrs likes making everything Sepia/Black&White haha

Mouser what is kitty's name?

I swear she is smiling in one of the photo's....

mouser · « **Reply #418 on:** July 28, 2016, 08:53 PM »

Her name is Sara, though I have lately been calling her by the nickname of "hotshot".

In the month and a half since I took those initial photos she has grown a ton bigger and looks quite different now:

And here is a photo of my dearest departed Saffron, who lived with me for 18 years and died about 2 years ago. They look very similar except for their eyes:

Isabella had to be shaved due to numerous mats and knots! She just loves her new look and is much happier. Will be keeping her clipped although not so drastically. Coat has grown now...
