PROPSYS.dll Was Not Found

Just today when starting up WindowsXP I got a message popup saying: FindAndRunRobot.exe failed to start because PROPSYS.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Reinstalling Find&Run did not fix this problem.  What is the fix for this?

that's quite strange.. it's not a dll installed by Find and Run Robot, or called explicitly, but it looks like it it's a system dll that is used to get information about files which is used by FARR.

it looks like propsys.dll should be installed by default with windows.

a quick search shows posts like this where people just grabbed the dll from another site:

not sure if missing DLL is related to Farr but this site labels that DLL as 'Microsoft Property System'.
