X-Setup Pro at Bits Du Jour today Monday - 5/4/09

[Steven Avery]

Hi Folks,

X-Setup Pro at Bits Du Jour. $10 instead of $20.

However the freeware market has a bunch of these tweak programs, although some have considered X-Setup the best. Worthwhile for the investment, which is relatively small for the license ?

Is this a market whose time has passed ? (I've never used one of these XP tweakers.)  Later I may list a few of these that are freeware.

Shalom,
Steven Avery

What are the free alternatives? Before going commercial I would need to see what free ones can do

After doing this review I am more impressed about the possibility of taking advantage of the deal today and just running with the active, proven, supported program.

You should really try the last freeware version from this software...and be amazed about the sheer power of that one.

And I have to assume that this power has increased over the years.

Here's one not many know about... Registry Tweaker. It's free and doesn't require installation

The Neat Net Tricks Software Panel reviewed X-Setup Pro back in October of 2007.  I don't know what version they reviewed or how relevant it is to the present one, but if you want to read several panelists' assessment, you can find it at http://www.neatnettricks.com/?http://www.neatnettricks.com/SoftwareReviews/2007/review_X-SetupPro.htm.
