Very good debate at CyberTech Rambler on the farce that is OOXML and the mess it has created for both ISO and Microsoft. Never mind that Office 2007 never followed MS-OOXML strictly.

So, they created a new format, and they don't even follow it to the letter? Impressive. I fear for ODF support in the new SP2. Kinda reminds me of the early days of the web, when Microsoft contributed to the standards, and later decided to write their own incompatible extensions. Very clever.
