This is a way to differentiate between search for files and search for folders. If the string entered in the FARR dialog contains a backslash, the there should be a bonus added to folders that match the search criteria.

Maybe there are other ways to implement this, but the above seems to fit with the way things are currently being done.

you've described exactly the plans for folder searching.  if you enter a \ at the end it will find folders matching the strings.
