PCMag.com's David Epstein provides a very handy list for those moving to Mac. (single page).

Thanks for that, Zaine  A nice, balanced read, and some good pointers, to boot! I learned some things and will try them out next time I'm on my iBook.

Great article! But no thanks, I'll stick to Windows (and correct usage/maintenance/mgmt) and VM's/virtualization

A very good article.  I wished I had this when our school purchased 10 Macbooks two years ago.  I certainly struggled with finding those Windows commands that I could use on the Mac.  A lot of them I have figured out or have found out since then.

But give my PC anyday!

You like seeing people moving to overpriced hardware and an even more tightly controlled closed ecosystem than Windows?

If nothing else, it's interesting to see the overt differences between the two. If you've ever been around Mac forums, they can give great -- and withering -- feedback, whether they're listened to or not!

Null set for me. I never take what somebody else is using personally.

LOL, this makes me chuckle...

I feel the need to constantly snipe at myself as an Apple/Windows/Red Hat/Ubuntu user :P

I agree with 40hz in that life is too short to bicker about pros and cons since as in life we all have our wrinkles :)
