powerpoint to dvd software

[techidave]

I have been searching the DC site and also google to find any software that would convert MS Powerpoint 2003 or 2007 presentation to a dvd so it could be viewed in a dvd player.

i am having problems finding free software to do this.  is there anything out that can do this for free or very low cost?

thanks,
Dave

Here's a blog post that describes four different methods (plus a fifth one for Mac users) to convert a Powerpoint presentation to DVD:

5 methods to save PowerPoint onto DVD

The most expensive method is $ 299, and the cheapest one is ... free

David Taylor: you are welcome to promote your product here at DC, but you are obliged to say you are affiliated with it. From a quick google search, I could see a few posts that demonstrate your are definitelly associated with moyea.

..., why not try Moyea ...
[Moderator: .... Treat this product with caution. ]

I think Carol's post had one sentence too many:
To the best of my knowledge, Moyea's programs are of a fair quality.

One more tip - VideoPPT (http://www.videoppt.com/VideoPPT). i like the program, it's really multifunctional

:)there is a software from acoolsoft , and it can achieve the purpose. it is easy to use the ppt2dvd software. why don't you have a try? as for the price, that's not expensive.

Hmmm.

One thing I have noticed is that this is a pretty frequent category of software at GAOTD. So many discussions/comments/suggestions to check if you search the archive, and another free offer is likely to be along any time soon.

a topic with a title like this is bound to attract spam. since techidave's request had already been fulfilled by city_zen (post #4), perhaps it's best to lock this thread and refer all future queries to this one.

Works for me.  I haven't had much time to spend on this project.  I haven't totally forgotten about it, its just on the back burner for now.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!  I get so much out of this forum and I usually read most of the posts.

Good Job Guys and Gals!
