How do you keep the auto-hide taskbar from showing up?

I'm not sure what you mean, is this related to ProcessTamer?
Because there's a thread somewhere on DC on a better Windows Taskbar handling, to avoid it popping up when some window flashes, IIRC.

Skrommel's PushToShow script hides the taskbar until the windows key is pushed.

Yeah, I think so. I've only seen this problem begin when I had process tamer enabled.

An application would eat up memory and my taskbar would pop up. I can only assume it's because it's changing the priority of the application.

Is PushToShow the only way to do this? It's mighty inconvenient for me since I use Winkey also.
