+a gets a +1 from me, would also be easier to remember for people new to the program or me who cant remember what day of the week it is!

i'm useing "Microsoft YaHei", which is the default font of Windows Vista(simplified Chinese)

It might be even better if you add a visual button to farr's interface

but since farr is a launcher not a desktop search tool, the "+a" way is nice and acceptable

if you're using the mouse, try this script which adds the +sall keyword to Farr's edit-box upon middle-clicking.

you can also modify the script and put it on Farr's toolbar.

Actually, lanux's script does all I need or want, perhaps if you were to change FARR then a button to toggle it could be the way to go. Thanks for the script lanux

What about a "more..." button in the bottom right of the statusbar or thereabouts? Should really be part of the interface I think, at the moment it's not discoverable unless you read the helpfile.

even better I think, or have it scroll down one result at a time when you press down from the last result? Makes sense spatially but then you don't see more of them at a glance. tough one.

I also vote for simply displaying the next result when pressing the down arrow key. To me, this seems like the most intuitive solution.

Mouser, something I'd like you to think about is adding the question mark after the query to display all results. And I mean adjacent to the query, no space. Windows filenames cannot contain the question mark anyway so this will not interfere with any search terms. Again, just think about it, it popped into my head and I'm not sure if it is usable, but it's much better than [space] +sall, and imho slightly better than [space] +a

Plus, if you actually need to see all results as a user you are not very good at remembering the filename, so you are basically asking farr to locate it for you, hence the question mark
