Hey - didn't notice this posting earlier. Single purchase/single user price is already reasonable, but if we can get 5 or 10 people interested it becomes downright embarrassing (as in, we'd almost be stealing the licences)! Add me to the list, oh ye of alloyed mandible and denuded cranium

Darwin · « **Reply #2 on:** January 31, 2008, 06:43 PM »

Looks like it's just you and me, Chaim. I guess we're in a class unto ourselves. The question remains, though, as to whether we are part of the elite or pariahs

Rover · « **Reply #3 on:** February 01, 2008, 03:08 PM »

Once upon a time I would've joined ye.

I am already a current owner of the pdf995 suite of products....

Perry Mowbray · « **Reply #4 on:** February 01, 2008, 03:30 PM »

My interest goes up with the number of people interested

Is that nearly 3 then?

Question: Is UltraPDF as standard standard or a 995 standard only? I wasn't sure when they mentioned Office viewers $:-\$

It is their proprietary format.

tinjaw · « **Reply #6 on:** February 04, 2008, 02:43 PM »

I'll wait until the end of Feb 08, gather up the names from this thread, ask for PayPal payments, and bundle the orders.

tinjaw · « **Reply #7 on:** February 17, 2008, 03:32 PM »

Bump

Reminder, we are collecting names until the end of the month. It's not too late to join in. The more people that join in the greater the discount.

OK, So it looks like the list is just

Remember the more people that get in on this deal the greater the discount. Even just one more would make a difference.

I'll place an order on Monday March 10, 2008.

wraith808 · « **Reply #9 on:** March 11, 2008, 12:26 AM »

Actually, one more doesn't make a difference from what I see (1-4 = 29.95@)... and I don't have enough time to really take a look it seems, so my addition wouldn't matter in any case.

tinjaw · « **Reply #10 on:** March 11, 2008, 12:33 AM »

Oops, your right wraith808. I misread it. Yes TWO more people please.

tinjaw · « **Reply #11 on:** March 19, 2008, 01:29 PM »

It doesn't look like there is enough interest here to make five orders. We will still get a $5 discount for three order, but the discount doubles to $10 if we can get two more.

What do you two think? Should we hold out for two more interested people, or should we settle for the $5 discount?

Darwin · « **Reply #12 on:** March 19, 2008, 04:28 PM »

Well... I'd *like* the extra 5 bucks off, but given that people have now had almost two months to hop on board, I doubt there's much point in holding out for two more people... but I'm personally in no rush, so will happily wait if that is what you and Perry would like to do.

Perry Mowbray · « **Reply #13 on:** March 24, 2008, 05:04 AM »

I, like Darwin, am in no hurry and would probably prefer more of a discount. So if everyone is happy to wait, I am.

Does there need to be an end point? We've already had one that's come and gone?

tinjaw · « **Reply #14 on:** March 24, 2008, 10:37 AM »

There need not be an end point. I picked one because I honestly thought we would have over 10 people wanting to do this. I'm happy to wait until we get a few more interested folks to join us.

One of us can bump the thread every few weeks to bring it to the attention of new folks.

More than agreed.

I thought 10 would be easy too $:-\$

I was going to start adding my own "threes", but I think this link will suffice

Darwin · « **Reply #18 on:** March 26, 2008, 12:40 PM »

Ooh! Nice find - thanks for that, Perry. I'm adding that link to my favourites

Perry Mowbray · « **Reply #19 on:** March 26, 2008, 02:08 PM »

I'm surprised more people don't use OneLook, or maybe it's just me that appreciates the layout and tools?

OneLook Dictionary Lookup Offers entries from, and links to, many dictionaries.
Reverse Dictionary Offers a wonderful way to ~~cheat at crosswords~~ find a word you can't quite remember
Word of the Day is another ubiquitous word-power improver
Rhyme Zone is a new find for me and finds Rhymes, Synonyms , Definitions, Homophones, Similar sound, Same consonants, Related, Quotations, Antonyms!!

These guys are brilliant and are definitely in my favourites!

tinjaw · « **Reply #20 on:** March 26, 2008, 02:30 PM »

Off Topic !!!! Two Demerits for you.

Great links Perry. Those people who are too snooty to join in on our purchase (and this thread) will just have to find them on their own.

wraith808 · « **Reply #21 on:** March 28, 2008, 04:17 PM »

Hey... if you can get one more, I'll be the fifth. Just no reason to purchase as a fourth

Do I hear a sixth? Folks, don't be left behind the trend. You can see how fast this is growing. You won't be able to claim you were one of the first group to ride this wave if you don't get in now on the ground floor.
