Activate poll on this forum?

[masu]

Hello,

is it possible to activate the poll function on this forum?

[mouser]

try now -- only full members of the site can post polls and you weren't previously recognized as a full member. you are now.

[masu]

thank you really much mouser

is it possible to add a poll to an existing topic?
I want to do this for this topic

[Carol Haynes]

Yep - look to the right at the bootom of the thread - there is an Add Poll button

[masu]

okay thanks
it works

[masu]

another small wish.

is it possible to add a poll icon to poll topics?

[Carol Haynes]

I'm sure it used to be possible to choose an icon for the thread when it is posted but I can't see it any more ???

I think it must have been disabled or lost along the way because I have the same version of SMF installed and you can choose a thread icon with the first post and also go back and edit it with the usual modify button.

[mouser]

we disabled setting post icons -- this way there is less visual clutter.
but i do agree that maybe poll posts should have a dif icon.

mouser, I need to get a poll going, and cannot find any icon in my post form.
Am I enabled?

Thanks

[Carol Haynes]

Can you not see the link?

Can you not see the link?

I can't I forgot, one first has to start a new topic

[urlwolf]

Thanks.
That's a weird procedure, I must say.

[Carol Haynes]

No you can post a new poll to start a thread.

This is the top of the Living room forum - notice the "New Poll" button
