Can you at least use bold or underline attribute?

Sorry, nothing :) Really, I played with various combinations for quite a long time before I finally chose this one. I think it just has to be as it is. Come on, it's not that bad.

Of course, it's not bad at all! And probably the only choice as I can see... Anyway, I'm getting used to it. Thanks again.

CCCCtrlC seems to be exactly what I need, unfortunately speed 10 is a lot to fast for me and I am not able to change the speed as described. Is it possible to get a precoded version with speed 50?

Hi,

I'm glad you like the program. I think it'll be easier to help you pass the speed as the argument. So here's how to do this:
  • Create a shortcut to CCCCtrlC.exe (for instance drag the CCCCtrlC.exe using the right mouse button, drop it on the desktop, and from the menu that appears select Create shortcut)
  • Right click the shortcut, select Properties. On the Shortcut tab, in the field called Target element, there is the full path to the original CCCCtrlC.exe. Put cursor at the end of this field and append to it space and the speed you want to use. Now the field should contain something like 'some_path\CCCCtrlC.exe 50'. Click OK.
  • Now drag the shortcut to the Start button, Programs, Autostart.
If you want to change the speed later, just go to Start, Programs, Autostart and right click the shortcut to CCCCtrlC that you put there, and edit the target element field again.

Thanks for your help, but even that way does not work. If I change the target line the system says something similar to this, "This is not a valid name of the program, please check the exact spelling and file path". So this is near the same it does if I try to change the speed in the execution window. Maybe Win7 in the German Edition is something special in that way.

This sounds very weird, probably you are doing something wrong. Please have a look at this screenshot (although it is in Polish).

Looks exactly as I described (except the language), when I add a 10, 50 or whatever after a space it comes with an error message.

does your path have a space in them? if so you have enclose the path in quotes, like this:

"C:\Program Files\CCCCtrlC\CCCCtrlC.exe" 50

You replied to a post that is over 9 years old, and hasn't had any activity for over 8 years. The age alone practically guarantees a dead/broken link.

If you're interested because it is/was developed in AutoHotkey, there are various clipboard managers floating around on the AHK forums, two of them listed here https://github.com/a...y/#scripts-clipboard

To alleviate any further confusion:

I have checked online and cannot find any reference to CCCCtrlC from anything past 2009.  On this basis, I am going to lock this topic due to it being irrelevant now.

Has this app been "lost"? Apparently, all the links to authoritative downloads are to DC Forum, but it seems to be not here (any more).
Does anyone know where it can be downloaded from? It doesn't see to be on Wayback (why is that?).

Please check the attachment for a virus. Although I don't think there is malware included, I found it on a website, which might resort to that kind of thing. My Windows defender was not triggered. And the VirusTotal check stated that Cylance was the only product that regarded it as unsafe. 62 others marked it as clean.

Why it didn't show up in the WayBack archive, no clue. They do a marvelous job, but don't expect them to cover every website in existence, at least not all the time. The software I found is an executable, not the AHK source code.

Hey, I just edited the original post and added ahk and exe as attachments! Feel free to download the source and compile yourself to be sure it's safe.

@Shades:
Many thanks for being so helpful.  :Thmbsup:

@TPReal:
Where you say:
Edit on 2018-11-20
The old download link was broken, but I'm just attaching the exe and the source code. I'm not sure what version of AHK it was compiled on, but hopefully it can still compile!

The old exe still works on Windows 10. (Unfortunately I didn't find anything similar, or an easy way to create a similar program, for linux, and now I need to work mostly on linux.)
 CCCCtrlC.ahk (5 kB - downloaded 2 times.)
 CCCCtrlC.exe (205.63 kB - downloaded 2 times.)

Thanks!
I actually was more interested in the AHK code as not only did I want to trial CCCCtrlC, but also I wanted to take a look at it to see if I could learn something.   :-[

(By the way, did CCCCtrlC slow you down any, on your way to getting an MSc?)

Haha :) just note that the code is pretty old and it was actually my only AHK program :) so code quality is probably not the highest possible.

MSc went pretty well, thank you :)
