MiniCap: Capture Windows-Name
« on: July 26, 2023, 09:49 AM »
MiniCap is the most versatile screencapture tool which I have found to date and I really want to use it

I am trying to capture a window with a certain window-name, which always has a random handler id, but the windows-name on top is always the same
Is this possible with MiniCap?

My goal is to make a screencapture, from commandline, of the specific window every minute and save it to a central NAS

I'm not sure about MiniCap, but nircmd from Nirsoft will take a screenshot from the command line.

Just a thought! If you are planning to take a shot every minute, it might be worth looking at Windows Task Scheduler. I am pretty certain that tasks can be re-run every 5 minutes or so - not sure about 1 minute.
