A Rogue Goose...for your Desktop....
« on: January 31, 2020, 03:08 PM »
I don't even care...I must have this!

HONK HONK, HEAR YE. I have created a goose for your desktop.

He'll nab your mouse, track mud on your screen...  leave you a message, deliver you memes?

Play video games with a desktop buddy who will attack you if you poke him.

Fill out spreadsheets while your screen fills up with instances of Goose Notepad.

https://fossbytes.co...-your-windows-10-pc/

Bit of a misleading headline - the only damage it can do is cause a computer to crash if you're stupid enough to load a lot of them at once... ;D ;D ;D

A word of advice here though: many users have reportedly maxed out their CPU after generating more than one goose buddy (yep! you can do that too). But keep in mind that you can end up crashing your PC if you go overboard with the Desktop Goose.

It doesn't claim to be a "nice little friend"...it's SUPPOSED to be an evil little shit that annoys the living hell out of you...that's its entire purpose haha

I really miss E-Sheep from back in the 90's. Excellent but sadly 16-bit desktop "pet". But I've had Fly On Desktop running around on my desktop for a year or so. It's incredibly realistic, light on resources, and gets people all the time. I set it off on a salesman's workstation once years ago, and he damn near knocked his monitor off the desk trying to swat the damn thing.
