I have the same symptom from the earlier versions ... (on Windows 7, 8.1)
It looks like bug in a program which is not refreshing (redrawing) previous area on zoom out.
Please fix this bug ...

how strange.. does it happen all the time, and regardless of whether you use the mouse wheel or the zoom slider on the right?
Or does it only happen on rare occasions?
