I thought I had visited the supporters yearbook after the upgrade, but now I can't find it any more.

This spoiler box (found here), which contains a code box, is tiny and can't be resized to see the contents:
[ Invalid Attachment ]

Try now (remember to hit F5 to reload new css).

I think @phitsc means how do you get to it, I can't find a link on the forum to it either.

EDIT: Found it, the supporters link in the fifth paragraph on the About page.  I think it could be buried a little deeper  :P

Yeah it's on the about page and can be shown in the top area occasionally when being shown a random item of old news.
It's one of the "fun" but useless pages.

Another request (or chiming in on one)- the ability to put custom links or something and position that area.  There are certain areas that I frequent more than others, and some don't appear on the unread or in the info center.  I'd like to not have to go back to the main area, search for the sub area, then go there if possible.

im open to adding a profile field that would let you specify some custom bbc code area, but id rather not make its position configurable -- so im thinking the custom block would be here:

Well my message again got lost.
https://www.donation....msg388318#msg388318

Maybe I was not clear then. I rephrase it.

Can we have an option to show all messages in a thread in one long page without any page break ? It will help me a lot.

Hope I get an answer this time.

Regards,

Anand

This is not a request or want, just a repeat of a personal preference:

My earlier impression stands, few days have passed and I can not get used to background colours of the posts and quotes. The background gets more difficult on my eyes on the page I check for new posts every time (https://www.donation...?action=recent;dense).
I remember mouser mentioned earlier that DC should retain a certain individual look, I would not include text background colours in any individualilty.

I would like to repeat that this is just my so called preference.

I have added an undocumented/secret feature for this, add ";perpage=#" at the end of your request when viewing a topic, for example ";perpage=500".

However note that such requests might put an unacceptable load on the forum if too many people start using it at the same time, so we may have to remove the feature or reduce the max (currently set to 1000) if this proves to be the case.

Im open to changing the colors, though i think i like them.  But I think what would really be useful in a more general sense is if someone could post (or point us to) a nice tutorial on ways to customize the css for any site you visit using different browsers, by overriding css definitions on a per-site basis.  Then perhaps people could share some dc-specific css site overrides for different looks?

I works  :Thmbsup: Thanks a lot. :)

Normally I or anybody else will not use it. We will use it only if we find interest in a message in a topic, which has become few pages long, and want to read back messages and find clicking 'prev' or 'next' time consuming.

Anand

I used Stylebot for Chrome (https://chrome.googl...aleoha/related?hl=en) and added this for myself

Code: CSS [Select]
  1. div.post_wrapper {
  2.     background-color: #ffffff;
  3. }
  4.
  5. td.stickybg.windowbg.toptictablecol_subject {
  6.     background-color: #ffffff;
  7. }
  8.
  9. td.windowbg.toptictablecol_subject {
  10.     background-color: #ffffff;
  11. }
  12.
  13. blockquote.bbc_standard_quote {
  14.     background-color: #ffffff;
  15. }

That's good enough.  Just hate having to go to the main page and scroll in order to see a board, and don't want another bookmark :)

Email alerts regarding PMs used to give sender and subject.
Now I get only subject which doesn't help with automatic mail sorting at my end.

Can you help with that one, please?

Works great! Nice work!

Quoting posts with attachments still has problems though...

Oh man, I kind of prefer the white... :( Looks cleaner, possibly easier to read in a way. Is there still room to reconsider the color choices overall? I mean, obviously if it's just a persnickety few of us, we can do our own thing. But if there's some amount of critical mass?

Is it just me, or do the new Spoiler tags not work in Win10's IE11? Using Edge yes, but in IE11 I get the link-finger icon, and no reaction to click what-so-ever.

I agree.  White is just too... white.  Especially at night.

I forget what the tag was, maybe "[autohotkey]" that displayed ahk code with syntax highlighting.  Is it available on the new board?  (I just found out about it a few weeks ago.)

Edit:  Also I can't find a test post subforum?
