The behavior in SSC is that if you save the image to disk, it opens the location where you save it. This is useful... sometimes. But other times, it's a great annoyance (like when you're capturing several shots in a row). Is there a way to turn this off?

are you referring to SC opening a windows file explorer window for the directory saved in?

I spoke too soon. That didn't stop the behavior. I also tried restarting, but that didn't help either.

Seems to work here for me. Can you check you are using the latest version, and then if the problem persists, can you be a little more specific about what actions you take and what behavior you experience.

fyi, i have both checked, but no windows explorer window opens after shot or save/save as

the unsaved changes come up after closing the shot, like i want it to

i do have the pop-up choice dialog set to show
and then the main window comes up with the shot
but still no windows explorer

This is only for SAVE AS when you save in a different folder from your normal screenshot folder.

wraith try unchecking both of this. in the next version i will move and label this better -- but unchecking both should surely solve your problem.

So, I'm using SSC 4.5.0

It seems that the setting that cmpm pointed out changed the behavior. Even if I then check the other option that you originally pointed out, it still does not open, so that seems to do nothing.

Ok... this came back, and both of the options are gone now!

How do I stop it from automagically opening the folder now?
