New Messge says 1 message

Forum keeps telling me I have one message even though its been red already plus no mention of it saying that a message has been successfully sent after replying to it and still says 1 message.

I assume it is saying "You have 1 message" - not "You have 1 new message". If you read it or not, you still have 1 message. You may go to your "Personal Message Index" and delete the message, to change this.

No it kept saying one new message, i deleted it. Still kept saying 1 new message.

When you deleted the message and it still said you had 1 new message, did you make the face in your avatar?

  I had the same problem the other day.  Kept getting notification of new message even though I had already viewed it.  That's the first time it's ever done that to me...

Just checked and mine said it too. I clicked on it and it disappeared. Weird.
