A while back I ordered a copy of Bryan Lunduke's nifty little app generator called
Illumination. I got it during a "name your own price" offer. It was version 4. So imagine my surprise when I got the following announcement from Bryan in my email yesterday. As a thank you for my previous support, he's providing a complimentary upgrade to his latest 'deluxe' version 5 at no charge.
In an era when even formerly reputable software providers have resorted to all sorts of word games in order to slither out from under their "lifetime" license promises, it's refreshing to see somebody do something genuinely nice for a change.
