MindMaple 50% discount
« on: December 05, 2011, 02:13 PM »
Hi

To celebrate the launch of MindMaple v1.1, MindMaple Inc. is announcing a 50% discount off the purchase price of its mind mapping software MindMaple. This new version of MindMaple contains a function allowing the import of Mindjet MindManager maps as MindMaple documents.

With the discount applied, the price for a single MindMaple license is now $99.50, and the unit price decreases when two or more are purchased.

Seems very promising, and great-looking too. But the first impression is underwhelming. When you install and run it first, you see a "welcome" sample file that looks like this:

Not sure if this is intended, but doesn't look quite right at all. Zooming in does not bring order, the text labels still show well outside the boxes, and topics still overlap each other, so that the example is completely unreadable. Hm.

They're not on Vic's list over at http://www.mind-mapping.org.

Has anybody here worked with MindMaple?

Im not related with the company... but they updated mind maple and the bug is solved.

They changed the licensing model, with a cheap anual suscription or standard updates.

I go to install it... i wish good luck to this software in the "dense market" of mind mapping.
