I went to the site, and it shows that the order is pending. It did say that the codes would take two days to process when ordering, so I wasn't really expecting anything until tomorrow.

I received a few e-mails many hours after the fact informing me of people using my referral link. But it was several hours after the fact.

OK, I told my daughter not to panic till she gets home from her boyfriend's house...in a few days.

She is used to at least getting a confirmation email to inform her the order went through successfully. She was beginning to wonder if something was wrong, thinking maybe she misspelled her email address and someone else might be ending up with a gift card at her expense.

I received an e-mail a few minutes ago telling me that my gift card was ready to be redeemed. And I just successfully redeemed it to my Amazon.com account.

I don't know if you should expect this trend, but my gift card was ready to be redeemed approximately 23 hours after I received my "confirmation" e-mail that I had ordered the gift card.

Also, thanks to everyone who used my referral link. I got the gift card for free!

Hi folks,

I found another similar offer from another similar site called Groupon. This time it's a $20 Barnes & Noble gift card for $10. This time the offer is good for another 2.5 days. If my math is correct, that means the deal expires on Tuesday, Feb 8th at 12:01 AM GMT -700. I can't tell, but it might even be valid outside the U.S.A.

I already used my gift-card (I ordered it yesterday, it was made available to me today) and I was happy to see that it was also valid on the Barnes & Noble marketplace (3rd party vendors).

No. I didn't get a confirmation e-mail until about 12 hours later (the next day) when it told me it was ready to be redeemed. You'll probably see the charge pending on your card, if you can view your transactions online.
