Holy f-stop Batman! Finally a decent open source video editor!? Must try! Maybe it'll support modern AVCHD Lite videos better than Vegas.

Seems to be a problem with the program running on 64bit Windows 7.  The fix is to go into the program directory and run the file ntcardvt.exe directly instead of the shortcut made through installation.  Of course, you can put a shortcut to that file wherever you want.

That's pretty impressive looking.  My favorite editor now is Vegas, but if this works, it might be a better and free option.  Thanks Armando!

I've been so busy that I haven't got the time to test it yet... 

I have the feeling that this is going to be the answer to my video editing problems. (I.e. : money, mostly... Would like to buy one of the pro solutions out there -- Sony Vegas Pro in particular -- but I don't do enough pro editing to justify the cost.)

Anybody wants to share some first impressions?

heh, heh, I am in the same boat! No time to test at the moment because I am buried under term papers that need marking and lectures to prepare... Mid-December I should think... maybe I'll shoot some family Christmas videos and test over the holdiay...

hmmmm... From the comments in the forum it seems more like an alpha than a beta. Typical.
No sure that I'll have enough patience for this one -- already investing time in other beta projects.
