this is a small tool that displays MRU list items in Microsoft Word 2007 and helps the user to delete the file-entries. Works only with Microsoft Word (Office) 2007.
advanced users may have noticed that this also can be done manually by going to the following key in the registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\File MRU] and delete the listed keys. plus this technique works with all Office 2007 applications not just Word.
Installation & UsageDownload this file into a folder of its own and run from there.
Usage is quite straight-forward. It is best to close Word 2007 before using this program. the 'Backup' button is to back-up the registry keys involved (you can run this first after loading the program) while the 'Delete' button deletes the checked items. that is all to it.
