ok i've tried this and it's pretty damn cool.
you type in some text and it uses snippets of songs to sing it:

Hehe.. Pretty crude though.....

It would be interesting to try the same idea, but with completely synthetic implementation. Combine speech synthesiser with an algorithm for creating a certain style of song.....
