New Program Released - Flipbook Printer - 11/20/05
« on: November 21, 2005, 05:34 AM »
Flipbook Printer is a program that lets you make your own printed "Flipbooks" from avi movie files using business cards.

A gift from DonationCoder.com especially for the holidays, and especially for the young at heart.
Makes a great present - have the kids send a flipbook of them waving hello to the grandparents, or send your loved one a movie of you smiling or blowing them a kiss. It's the ultimate in low-tech movie making!

"readme": "If everything else fails, read the manual"

- and I quote from this manual:
"Your movie should be very very short, just a couple of seconds"

So the first step is not to import, but to edit your .avi movie.

It's possible that your videos are using some kind of encoding that is confusing Flipbook Printer.

There is a sample video file installed with Flipbook Printer -- can you try loading that? If that also doesn't load then either you are doing something wrong or there's a more general problem.  If that loads but your files don't then it's probably some kind of video file compatibility thing.

Thank you, looks like a general problem then, as I cannot load the sample video either and it seems very easy to do it
(I click on the folder, select the video and double clic on it...)
Thanks for your help, I will try on another computer
