Hello Eric

Thanks a lot for writing Easy Unicode Paster, I really like it a lot!

I would very much like you to add feature to Start Minimized to Tray, if possible, please.

Check out version 1.4 of Easy Unicode Paster: http://easyunicodepa...wikidot.com/download

It has the option to make EUP minimized after it starts itself. There are also a couple of interface tweaks and it uses a different method of sending unicode keys to applications that now works reliably with Internet Explorer text boxes.

Also, can you post a couple of screenshots of the menus of Diacrit? Does EUP work similary to Diacrit? What's the major differences besides the "Language" menu in Diacrit?

Thanks a lot for updating so fast!

You already have given EUP the feature to hide to sys-tray, which is really cool. Do you think it will be possible for you to also change EUP from the new "Start Minimized to Taskbar" into "Start Minmized to Sys-Tray" instead??

---

Regarding Diacrit. I am going to write the author of Diacrit once more. This time to ask for option to start with favourite language view. As for now it will always start in a useless ehh... neutral  mode, forcing the user to first click "language", and then to scroll to the preferred language. Otherwise I am quite happy with  Diacrit. It is not placed in Start, but on the addressbar of my Firefox, together with BabelMap, because I am used to using them at the Internet only.

The biggest difference between Diacrit and EUP may be that Diacrit already "has" all characters and signs if they are installed on the user's PC.

Diacrit will auto-adjust to whatever size is needed.

Config.JPGEasy Unicode Paster1

Isn't that what the new setting in the Config panel does? Check the first option and it will start minimized to the tray icon.

Know anywhere that I can the character data files that contain descriptions for each character? I think I might just do a version of EUP with all the characters in a data file but I want them to be described like Character Map does for unicode in Windows.

I have no understanding of what informations you will need, but I have these pages bookmarked from another project:
http://www.w3.org/TR/unicode-xml/
http://unicode.coeurlumiere.com/
http://www.unicode.o...c/UNIDATA/Blocks.txt
http://www.alanwood....demos/wingdings.html
http://www.fileforma.../char/00bf/index.htm
and http://diveintopytho...cessing/unicode.html for Python

Thanks for the screenshot. It never crossed my mind to right-click in order to find the options! :-[
