Minimize any window to tray on *nix

I've seen some mention of minimize-to-tray apps here on DC, I figured I would post this for the few fellow Linux users here who might want something like this:

With AllTray you can dock any application with no native tray icon (like Evolution, Thunderbird, Terminals) into the system tray. A high-light feature is that a click on the "close" button will minimize back to system tray.  It works well with Gnome,  KDE,  XFCE 4*, Fluxbox* and WindowMaker*

I've seen this in Synaptic's software list, but never bothered to try it. I don't know that I have any apps I need to stay open all the time, and if I do, I usually keep them on an out-of-the-way virtual window.

I just wish Fluxbox's tray/taskbar wasn't so tiny. It'd make trayed items easier to get at if the size was customizable (i've looked, couldn't find a config item for it...).

in your style, just put:

toolbar.height: 30px

(or some other value in pixels)
