IDEA: Search engine window on desk top
« on: December 06, 2007, 03:16 AM »
This request is based on japanese software I recently found, called MGES2
http://quizo.at.info...re/indexEn.html#MGES

I love the idea, but this version goes to the Japanese version of Google.  Any chance this idea could be enhanced (not really interested in the desktop search.)  Perhaps include in the options the ability to select a search engine to use.  The idea of opacity is great, as it can sit on the desktop without being too intrusive.

(Sorry if this is not a valid request as there is already something out there.)

Thanks
Haydn

you can contact the author and put in some feature requests [qtquizo (at sign) yahoo.co.jp] or you can try mouser's Find and Run Robot which is highly customizable..

Thanks lanux128.  I have looked at this, and it pretty awesome.  Thanks for the pointer.
