url snooper uses the winpcap engine and i'm sure there are some posts about this issue at winpcap support site or web.

i just finished the experiment, newly installed xpsp2 without nlite fixed the problem.
i really dont know how to solve prob in my main installation. :(

i will reinstall xp trimmed with nlite and try again.
