Looking for a RSS Feed Reader for Firefox

Is there a Firefox add-on for RSS feeds reading that

1) has an option to set the feed refresh/fetch time

2) Notification upon new RSS items

I like Brief the most http://brief.mozdev.org/index.html but there is always the old favorite Sage https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/77 Being able to filter/"star" entries for later consumption is nice, same as in Google Reader.

Not so simple/brief infoRSS https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/361 and Wizz RSS https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/424 or http://www.wizzrss.com/WizzRss.php

If you figure ticker feature from infoRSS is a must have may be try RSS Ticker instead https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2325 infoRSS is a bit heavy. Using this with Brief or whatever is probably lighter on your Firefox than infoRSS.
