Boolean search possible ?
« on: April 26, 2007, 06:27 AM »
Maybe this is possible - I can't tell - I tried and searched.

Possible to do Boolean string search ?   say  "Ford AND car"   or  "Ford OR car" ?

I always have a zillion close files - I can remember two strings in filename - having "AND" would be awesome !

Have a great day !

version 2 of farr works this way automatically -- if you type:
foo car

then files with both will have highest scores, but those with one or the other will still display but with lower score.

(and you can exclude items with a word by doing -word).

i've sent you the link to the alpha preview of farr v2, see if it satisfies.
