I, too, am reasonably advanced in age and think my ability to cogitate clearly is as good as ever - of course, I'm thinking that with fewer brain cells...

just remember, its the weak and sick brain cells that die first so, like a buffalo herd, the deaths of those just improve the herd, so in time you become a leaner meaner thinking machine :D
