Exciting indeed! BTW there's no native "triple click" event on the Text control we're using so I've been trying some workarounds. (It's a bit funky of an event... you're the only user who's ever asked for it in our releases :) --even as it can prove to be quite useful!).

Okay! Been thinking that perhaps you'd like a "click length" option for emulating the single/double/triple-click text change event using a short, medium and long click. If so, feel free to say it! Due to the triple click workaround, this feature can be easily added & seems like it can be a handy one to have as well

Cheers & many thanks again
Vic

Hmmm, well as long as there might be a sound event playing to alert the user (the idiot me) of the change to another function, I see no problem with monitoring the click length combined with location for different kinds of options.

For an example, clicking for 1 second on the bottom half might change a highlight color (with medium 2 seconds and or 3 seconds extra bright user discretions for colors) double click no highlight, meanwhile a top monitored click will change the fonts (again 4 different font options) with the double click switching back to the default font.

The sounds should be customizable though... Should I send you some basic sound wave files to package with the release? I mean all they are are beeps and whistles really but it would help with alerting which function is active.

Yes, by all means do. The idea is to launch this feature-complete (as per your requirements).

Feel free to label them according to the events you have in mind. e.g. "single-click.mp3", "double-click.wav", "triple-click.mp3", "settings-reset.wav", etc.

I'll take care of matching them with the corresponding events

I sent the files you requested, they are a bunch of computer beeps from star trek. I sent through Pcloud.

Of course you could rename them as you see fit...

I hope this idea will be great... :-*

Thanks, already downloaded them from pCloud

I'm devoting today & tomorrow to get this published so the donation assists us in putting the merry in our family's Christmas :-*
